About gratitude

Sleepless drivers. 7.39. Going to work. The taxi driver looks as tired as politely he speaks. Asking for permission to go on smoking when I sit into the cab. Following all the rules. Trying his hard to please me. I look into the drivers of cars racing with mine. Does anyone ever thank all those people?
People need to be thanked. This emotional and verbal support keeps them working even harder. When I praise my staff our students praise us. When I feel not appreciated I become regular, not because I am bad, because I am regular. Regulars need words of gratitude. Even superbs do. Everyone does.
Why do we have the ability to speak, if our lips do not produce supporting words?!
Stay grateful))
